Our Approach

When working with OneResolve, clients can expect that we will value the needs of everyone involved and will ensure that they are compassionately understood to allow healing and restoration to be achieved. We believe deeply that the nature of concerns and reports of harm or conflict within an organisational contexts can vary significantly—clear expectations, processes and outcomes should be applied consistently across response and restorative processes. Providing sensitive, clear, and consistent communication and engagement when working with organisations is a must and informs our long term experience in the sector.

Our practice is founded on processes for creating, supporting, and restoring the impacts of harm and conflict within various organisational and institutional settings. We focus on the prevention, interruption and response to harm and conflict occurring in organisational contexts. Our relational responses understand the cultural and systemic context of organisations and pay attention to the experience and consequences of both individual and collective harm and conflict in these environments. In all our work we deeply value and promote mutual understanding, accountability and relationships for all involved.

Our Four Principles of Practice:

Relationships

We understand and acknowledge that relationships are both a source of strength and support, but can also be the source of harm and conflict.

Accountability

We believe that each person is responsible for their behaviour & has control for remedying those impacts. Organisations must also acknowledge the collective nature of  their cultures, systems & its impacts.

Dignity

We afford everyone we work with human dignity and respect including our clients, our colleagues, our partners, and our communities.

Restore

We consistently apply a restorative approach that seeks to understand and restore the impacts of harm and conflict.

“Being the first time I’ve participated in a facilitation, I initially felt apprehensive about what the process would entail. Anna, however, created a professional yet comfortable space from the outset. In preparation for the facilitation, she spent ample time to meet with & provide me a very thorough explanation of the process, took a lot of initiative in offering guidance or drafting up a document when I was unsure, & was able to quickly understand my loose thoughts & clearly articulate them back. This continued through to the actual facilitated meeting, & through her support, I feel very reassured & confident of its outcomes.”
